CNC Rotary Table Systems, by LCM
Precision machining specialist, LCM, has been designing and manufacturing CNC rotary table systems, indexers and tilting heads for CNC machine tools since 1986. With a staff of highly qualified CNC engineering technicians and a wealth of CNC programming experience, LCM supplies a wide range of innovative 4 and 5 axis rotary tables of the highest quality standards. LCM Rotary Tables can be relied upon to deliver real gains in productivity by reducing machine cycle times that require fewer costly setups. The net result is an improved return on investment that can be measured by faster component production, reduced operator intervention and less time being spent on remedial actions.
CNC Rotary Table Systems - Key Features
The LCM range of rotary table systems is the number one choice for machine tool manufacturers and precision engineers. The design, construction and key features differentiate our Rotary Tables from the competition in terms of accuracy, reliability and overall engineering performance.
- Very compact with a small footprint area allowing maximum room for machining and additional operations on the machining bench at the same time
- Fully sealed and pressurised thus preventing any dust, swarf or coolant inside the mechanism and moreover to protect it from the condensation generated from the warm motor - cool coolant environment
- Manufactured from special alloys which are lighter than steel or cast iron, but which have better metallographic properties and provide improved performances
- Preloaded worm screw and crown wheel ensuring zero backlash thus providing extreme accuracy of the rotary tables
- Torque motor rotary tables with similar working torque to the worm screw/crown wheel system, but with higher rotational speeds and zero backlash
CNC Rotary Table Systems - Quality Assurance
The quality procedures LCM Rotary Tables has in place guarantee not only the precise assembly of the products, but also the ability to monitor and verify that each component is perfectly within its technical specification. During assembly, all rotary tables undergo a 40 hour run-in to ensure final production accuracy. The rotary tables then have a pre-load applied and a final test inspection before being released for customer delivery.
